Miami, FL – September 25, 2015 – As we zoom on into the Audi TT Drive 305 – a digital partnership between THE COLLECTION and World Red Eye – insiders can get an up close and personal look at the all-new 2016 Audi TT through the eyes of three of Miami’s own. We spent the day with Visual Artist Typoe, who gave us a glimpse into Miami through his eyes behind the wheel of the newly-arrived 2016 Audi TT. Cast between worlds of opposing values, at once an anonymous prestidigitator and high-ranking glitterati, Typoe straddles an unseen fence. His handiwork, which swaths billboards, public arenas, and buildings literally rotting with neglect, has expanded from the crumbling edifice of a cultural misnomer into the social spotlight. By nature a commenter, a heckler, his self-referential styling’s are violent and poetic in equal measure. Illuminating parodies between gang relations and organized religion, corporations and the massacre of war, Typoe’s mixed media creations range from factory finished luxury items and graphics to vandalized found objects that flaunt a punk-like disregard for beauty. Simmering for the moment under the lid of ‘the gallery’ these fetishistic, narcissistic articles resonate with devastating potential and beget insurgent thoughts.
Whether it was jetting over to PAMM to catch the latest works of the museum, or rolling through the streets to his favorite spot in Wynwood, Typoe certainly didn’t hesitate to relish every moment in this “sex” machine.

WRE: Had you ever driven an Audi before this?
Typoe: No
WRE: What was your perception of Audi after you drove the TT?
Typoe: It was super smooth, like driving on a cloud.
For me, being able to do what I love every day is the joy of my life and my greatest achievement.

WRE: Where did you jet around town in your TT?
Typoe: I went to the PAMM, which is one of my favorite buildings in Miami. I also drove by the Del Toro headquarters in Wynwood where you can see my mural of a faux marble painting. Wynwood is an area I have spent so many years working in and helping propel forward.
WRE: Describe your perfect day behind the wheel of an Audi TT?
Typoe: I think the perfect day in the Audi TT would be driving to Pace park in the morning with my dog Emma and take her for a walk. Then work out in the park for an hour and head over to Lemoni Cafe for a smoothie. Finally, drive over to my studio and work until the late evening.
WRE: What was the TT’s most memorable characteristic?
Typoe: I really enjoy the simple interior design of the TT; the minimal slick dash without all the crazy nobs and buttons that are usually there in most cars.
WRE: The TT is packed with technology. What was your favorite tech feature?
Typoe: The best feature for me by far is the navigation and how the map takes over the entirety of the screen in front of my steering wheel so I can easily see where I am going. I have to run a lot of errands and am always going to meetings in new places so for me, this is really helpful.

Typoe: I got the best compliments you can get on the road, which is when people stare at the car and then look at you and give you the nod of approval.
WRE: Would you recommend a TT to your friends?
Typoe: I would absolutely recommend this car. It’s design is fantastic, the technology surpasses all my expectations and it handles very well.
