Ocean Drive Magazine Celebrates “Art of the City” Issue at W South Beach

Miami Beach, FL – August 20, 2015 – Ocean Drive magazine Publisher, Courtland Lantaff and Editor-in-Chief, Jared Shapiro joined the magazine’s cover artist Jillian Mayer at the W South Beach Hotel to toast its “Art of the City” Summer issue. The VIP event also gave back to Locust Projects by raising funds through the donation of an exclusive Jillian Mayer artwork titled DIY Lap Top Case.  Mayer’s work is part of Niche Media’s Art Of The City emerging art’s platform featuring the works from the country’s most important emerging artists. Mayer’s work, along with an art piece donated from artists in 9 of Niche Media’s markets, was part of a summer long online auction on Charitybuzz.com.  Notable guests including Locust Projects’ Chana Budgazad Sheldon and Amanda Sanfilippo joined by VIPs including Carolyn Travis, Martin Rozenblum, Kathryn and Dan Mikesell, David Castillo, Alan Randolph, Steven Rodriguez, Michael Bernstein, Leslie Wolfson, Joyce Gato, Emily Gambino, Ellen Marchman, Edison Lozado, Lucas Leyva, Mindy Solomon and Gerhard Zimmerman. Along with other guests, they toasted to the Miami arts’ community while enjoying cocktails and hors d’oeuvres by The Dutch.
