Miami Beach, FL – June 9, 2015 – The Carbonell Family and Northern Trust Bank hosted an intimate cocktail reception and scotch tasting with The Glenlivet, celebrating an evening of art, craftsmanship and tradition at the beautiful Crown Room at Thompson Miami Beach. On display were works from the late Manuel Carbonell, greatly regarded as one of Latin America’s most important Master Sculptors. Carbonell’s influence can be seen throughout Miami through works that include “Tequesta Family,” a 53-foot bronze monument on the Brickell Avenue Bridge and “Lovers,” which adorns Swire Properties Carbonell Condominium on Brickell Key. Guests spent the evening mixing and mingling throughout a handpicked collection of sculptures while tasting exclusive batches of The Glenlivet 15, 18, 21 and XXV.
