Fort Lauderdale, FL – March 12, 2014 – The Official VIP Launch of BalQony, an oceanfront reception terrace lounge at Hilton Fort  Lauderdale Beach Resort, and Venice magazine’s One-Year Anniversary celebration was without a doubt one of the hottest parties Fort Lauderdale beach has seen this year. Hosted by the sultry Australian model/actress, Venice cover model Nicky Whelan, more than 500 South Florida tastemakers and influencers partied in true beach-chic fashion, under the stars at the Hilton and were treated to an exclusive preview of BalQony, as well as enjoyed the one-year anniversary of Venice—Fort Lauderdale’s premier luxury lifestyle magazine. Guests mixed, mingled and enjoyed an array of interactive entertainment throughout the night with Cirque du Soleil-esque acrobatics, Flamenco dancers and more. Attendees remained hydrated until the evening came to a close thanks to Premier Beverage and E&J Gallo Winery.
