ART LEXÏNG Presents Pierre-Elie de Pibrac: In Situ
Miami, FL – March 14, 2015 – Art enthusiasts from near and far made their way to ART LEXÏNG as the gallery presented the first U.S. solo exhibition of French photographer Pierre-Elie de Pibrac “In Situ.” Following the overwhelming response to his two years commission project with the prestigious Paris Opera, Paris-based artist Pierre-Elie de Pibrac’s profile and reputation continues to soar as one of French’s most relevant and successful contemporary photographers. In Situ by Pierre-Elie de Pibrac takes us on a classical journey, known throughout the world as ballet, originated in the imperial court of Louis XIV (himself an avid dancer, in his youth). Ballet as an expression of movement became an artistic apex: the highest, most elite form of Romantic dance that endures to this day.
