Miami Beach, FL – March 11, 2015 – Over 450 patrons of The Bass Museum of Art turned out for the annual fundraiser A Night at the Museum and oh what a night it was! The Film Noir theme was a hit with partygoers who, donning fedoras or dressed as femme fatales, mingled in the galleries which had been transformed into misty streetscapes and retro lounges. Projections of classic Hollywood crime dramas rolled in the background as guests savored  Grey Goose cocktails and Chateau D’Esclans Rosé and sampled delicious bites from STK Miami and sweets from Oolite Miami. The highlight of the evening was the suspense surrounding the bidding in Paddle8 auction of 22 works of contemporary art. President of the Board, George Lindemann and  Silvia Karman Cubiñá, Executive Director and Chief Curator of the Bass, agreed that, in the end, the museum was the winner with 21 of the 22 lots sold. Sponsorship was provided by Tui Lifestyle, The Miami Herald and the El Nuevo Herald, DJ Mauricio Parra, and All Access Photobooth. Beverages were also provided by Illy and Perrier.
