Miami, FL – February 18, 2015 – Hundreds of guests packed Canvas’ popular sales center for a taste of whats to come when Canvas opens in 2017, coincidentally also just in time for South Beach Wine & Food Festival. The evening featured cuisine by Kevin Aoki and Roman Jones’s latest endeavor, Otabe, a Japanese Hibachi restaurant with a buzzing bar bound to enliven the neighborhood. Prominent guests including Walter Defortuna, Monica and Carla Defortuna, along with Canvas developers Nir Shoshani and Ron Gottesman, Kevin Aoki and Roman Jones feasted on Otabe’s savory cuisine while listening to sounds by DJ Mr. Pauer.
