Facundo Rum Collection Dinner at Seaspice

Miami, FL – February 11, 2015 – The esteemed Facundo Rum Collection presented a curated dinner celebrating the true artistry of the first-ever collection of four aged sipping rums from Bacardi. Twenty of Miami’s elite hoteliers and food and beverage executives gathered at Seaspice to enjoy an original four-course meal specially prepared by Executive Chef Angel Leon. Guests began the evening sipping on signature brand cocktails such as the Neo Old Fashioned and Eximo Old Fashioned created exclusively by the Facundo Rum Collection. Brand Master David Cid later led the intimate crowd, including John Rodgers and Dant Hirsch of the Faena Group, John Llevarde of Nobu, Sacha El Wakeel of Byblos Miami Beach, Wayne Eldred of Tarpon Bend, Soyfen Abou from Seaspice, and more, through an exquisite pairing of the Collection’s four master marques – Neo, Eximo, Exquisito and Paraiso – while they dined on a custom menu. The memorable experience concluded with a tasting of PARAISO, the 23-year aged ultimate sipping rum, complemented by Guanaja Chocolate Cremeux. Following dinner, guests smoked custom-made cigars and further enjoyed their marque of choice, while overlooking sweeping views of the Miami River.
