Alexander Mijares Presents “Outside the Lines”

Miami, FL – December 5, 2014 – To kick-off his second annual solo pop-up exhibition, “Outside the Lines,” artist and Miami native, Alexander Mijares threw an opening night party that was surely one for the books. Guests enjoyed sounds by DJ ES.P, and light bites, specialty cocktails, and cold beer from STK and Duvel. As an ode to his partnership with Duvel this year, Mijares custom designed the bar with a print of his latest painting “Woman On Chair”, which he created with inspiration from the beer brand. In addition to this collaboration, Mijares has produced esteemed collaborations with international artists Pez, Desire Obtain Cherish, and Kenor; and headlined high profile events during Art Basel, Art Wynwood and ART Santa Fe. Recently Mijares was named a Top 10 Influential Artist of 2013 by Elite Daily, and was honored by CBS as one of the top 5 up-and-coming South Florida Visual Artists of 2014.
