13th Annual Sagamore Brunch
Miami Beach, FL – December 6, 2014 – Owners of the Sagamore, Cricket and Martin Taplin, along with the Bass Museum of Art, Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami Lowe Art Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami, The Patricia and Phillip Frost Art Museum, Perez Art Museum Miami, and the Wolfsonian FIU, welcomed over 2,500 of the world’s leading artists, curators, gallerists and art enthusiasts for the 13th Annual Art Basel Brunch, considered to be the most sought-after Art Basel event of the season. This year’s collaboration was with Electronic Arts Intermix (EAI), who created a hotel-wide installation entitled SCREEN PLAY: MOVING IMAGE ART that portrays the relationships between moving image and all other art mediums over six decades. Guests mingled with mimosas and experienced first-hand the work of influential artists.
