Miami, FL – November 18, 2014 – You may have seen her running around town rocking crazy hair colors, backstage at some of Miami’s biggest events, and occasionally out to just have a good time. What you may not already know is that this Aileen Quintana is responsible for some of this city’s hottest looks. Born and raised in Miami, Quintana is a highly illustrious makeup artist whose creativity has made her one of the most sought-after talents in the beauty and fashion industry. Using her professionalism and meticulous passion to inspire the community through her art and make-up, Quintana has had the opportunity to work with some of the industries biggest names including Chloe, Betsey Johnson, Fendi, The Webster Miami, SoHo Beach House, YSL Cosmetics, to name a few. With over 10 years of experience Quintana has graced the pages of countless magazines including Elle, Ocean Drive, 944, Vanidades and Vogue. Additionally, Quintana is the lead makeup artist at Miami’s Funkshion Fashion Week and a regular at IMG New York Fashion Week. Combining her love for art and fashion, she has developed a new concept that merges both of those worlds together as a multi-level visual/performance artist.”I do a lot of creative direction and my concepts, when it comes to fashion, have definitely set me apart from everyone else,” explains Quintana. These days the makeup Queen goes beyond the barriers, creating fashion various interactive performance installations that create a fun metamorphosis and allow the client to be transformed by her and her team.

We were fortunate enough to get a behind the scenes look backstage at the “Night on the RunWade” fashion show last week, where we caught Quintana and her crew getting everyone ready for the big night ahead. Between prepping stars like Dwyane Wade, Chris Andersen, and Mario Chalmers for their RunWade debut, and prepping the models,Quintana is no stranger to the hustle it takes to get an army ready. “This is my third year working with Dwyane Wade and his runway charity event, it’s so much fun to work with amazing people and friends, and continue to make my mark here in Miami,” says Quintana, “Everyday has been pretty thrilling and each day brings new and exciting projects.” As she continues to primp her way through in this entertainment filled city we certainly can see her success thus far is just a small glimpse of what is to come.
