Fort Lauderdale, FL – October 30, 2014 – More than 400 South Florida influencers and tastemakers joined International Yacht Collection (IYC) as it hosted a yacht hop to rival all others on Thursday evening, onsite during the 2014 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Dubbed as the premier party of the Boat Show, the Passport to Paradise VIP Yacht Hop presented by IYC provided a one-of-a-kind experience unlike any other, as attendees of the exclusive, invite-only event took a journey on some of the most coveted superyachts available on the market today in the world of luxury charter. Guests hopped from vessel to vessel to receive their passport stamps and experience exotic locales and worldly destinations, with each yacht showcased featuring a different theme and cuisine based on the individual charter destination, from the Caribbean to the Mexican Riviera and beyond. Once all five stamps were received from each featured yacht destination, VIP attendees were automatically entered to win a multitude of high-end prizes, including a Van Cleef & Arpels’ necklace, YSL clutch, vintage bottle of Dom Pérignon, and more. Each of the five superyachts showcased as part of the event were sponsored by a variety of affluent luxury brands and businesses, with premier event partners including Van Cleef & Arpels, Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour, Audi of America, Marsh, Apex, The Hedge Fund Association, Venice magazine, Fortune International Group, Fairwinds Group, The Related Group, and Global Wealth Management.
