Miami Beach, FL – November 18, 2014 – Shelborne Wyndham Grand South Beach, one of Miami’s most historic landmark resorts, celebrated its grand re-opening to much fanfare on Tuesday evening. The well-attended fête included a ceremonial ribbon cutting followed by a lavish cocktail reception featuring libations by master mixologist Albert Trummer and hors d’oeuvres prepared by Chef Masaharu Morimoto. The evening celebrated the Shelborne’s recent $90 million dollar restoration, which enhanced the resort’s public areas, chic pool and cabana experiences, guest rooms, suites, corridors, meetings spaces, and ballrooms with understated luxury and timeless elegance. The resort also introduced Morimoto South Beach, the cool contemporary Miami flagship restaurant from award-winning Chef Masaharu Morimoto, who also oversees the resort’s comprehensive food and beverage programs including room service and catering.
