I Love Lucy Cocktail Hour at Arsht Center

Miami, FL – September 19, 2014 – The Adrienne Arsht Center and Broadway Across America celebrated the highly anticipated Florida premiere of I Love Lucy® Live On Stage with a fabulous cocktail fete on Friday evening. Free and open to the public, the I Love Lucy® Live On Stage “Cocktail Hour” was a night of kitsch, comedy and classics hosted by 101.5 Lite FM’s Julie Guy. Guests enjoyed mojitos and Tropicana cocktails, live performances by Miami Gay Men’s Chorus, classic cars from the Dezer Collection Auto Museum and Desi Arnaz memorabilia, as well as photos and video footage from History Miami’s latest exhibition “American Sabor Exhibit: Latinos in U.S. Popular Music!” In addition, attendees made sure to get in the spirit and channelled their best Lucy Ricardo and entered the event’s “Look Like Lucy Contest” for the chance to win a fabulous prize package including tickets to see I Love Lucy® Live On Stage at the Arsht Center, a pin-up style photo shoot courtesy of Terribly Girly Photography by Janette Valentine and more.
