Miami, FL – September 16, 2014 – It was all about celebrating the new kid on the block Tuesday evening as Fortis Development Group broke ground on 250 Wynwood. This modernist art-covered, eleven-unit condominium building will be the first new construction in Wynwood in a decade. Mayor Regalado and Commissioner Keon Hardemon joined managing partners David Polinsky and Bradley Carlson for the ceremony, along with Cervera’s Gingi Beltran, Andrew Lenahan of First Florida and Kevin Miliffe of City National Bank. During the groundbreaking, Mayor Tomas Regalado expressed his appreciation for new the development that is sensitive to Wynwood’s creative vibe, and Hardemon called Wynwood “a place where like-minded people from all backgrounds come together to create community.” Following the shovel ceremony, 250 of Miami’s movers and shakers continued on to a lavish after party just down the block at the beautiful outdoor MAPS Backlot, where they munched on delicious bites and savory libations from Wynwood’s finest establishments.
