Miami Beach, FL – September 18, 2014 – More than 100 of Miami’s best-dressed and most philanthropic made their way to The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach sales gallery on Thursday evening for Dress for Success Miami’s 20th anniversary gala kick-off celebration. The sophisticated, fashion-focused evening featured three separate collection presentations from Max Mara, Sportmax and ‘S Max Mara. During the show, models strutted down the runway and through the awe-struck crowd highlighting Max Mara’s line, as well as statement accessories including handbags, shoes, sunglasses and fur accents. Max Mara’s three collections, composed of an array of professional and classic attire, directly reflected Dress for Success Miami’s mission: to promote the economic independence of underprivileged women by providing professional attire and creating a network of support for career development. After the Max Mara fashion presentation, attendees mingled and toured the modernist-designed sales gallery, which features a high-tech media wall, including holograms, an interactive presentation, and dioramas of the project as well as a screening room which features a short film about The Residences by Italian architect Piero Lissoni. Throughout the fete, guests enjoyed the evening’s signature cocktail, Sparkling White Wine Sangria, as well as delicious bites by Thierry’s Catering.
