Neiman Marcus Coral Gables Celebrates the ART OF FASHION

Coral Gables, FL – September 10, 2014 – Over 500 of Miami’s trend-setters made their way to Neiman Marcus at Village of Merrick Park Coral Gables on Wednesday evening to celebrate the biggest fashion event of the fall season, the 20th Anniversary of the Neiman Marcus ART OF FASHION. Joined by Ocean Drive magazine, the fashion forward evening included a stunning runway presentation, an AOF Photo Booth and red carpet, as well as fabulous flash tattoos. By far the highlight of the evening was the Fall 2014 Collection runway fashion show. Hosted by Local 10 News Anchor, Laurie Jennings, models graced the catwalk in the must-have trends of the season: Global Chic, Grey Matters, Greens and Blues, The Trouser, and Knit Dressing. Throughout the night guests were able to satisfy their hunger with delicious tastings from top local restaurants including Bread + Butter, Love is Blind, Red Koi Thai and Sushi Lounge and Swine Southern Table + Bar. Guests were treated to organic wines by Frey Vineyards and artisanal cocktails courtesy of Grey Goose Vodka, which featured their new creation – Grey Goose VX, an exclusive edition of masterfully crafted Grey Goose vodka with a hint of precious Cognac. Neiman Marcus is committed to supporting the arts in the community and they partnered with three arts-related charities for the event: Beaux Arts for the Lowe Art Museum, The Venus Orbit Initiative supporting the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science, and the National YoungArts Foundation. The host committee included, Lana Bernstein, Julia Bianchi, Courtney Denaro, Julia Ford Carther, Becky McCarron, Cristina Krislav, Maria Schwedel, and Jared Shapiro.
