Miami Beach, FL – July 16, 2014 – The SLS was hot, hot, hot last night as Peroni Nastro Azzurro, one of the world’s No. 1 premium Italian beers, joined Fashion Group International, FUNKSHION, and Italia Independent to kick off swim week with the 3rd Annual Emerging Designer Series contest. This was an unparalleled opportunity for fashion designers in South Florida to showcase their talents and designs in a high-profile runway show at no cost to the designer. Open to fashion, swimwear, and accessory designers, the competition aimed to identify and support the up-and-coming talented designers in the Miami area. What an incredible opportunity this was for the designers as members of the fashion industry including press, buyers and key trade influencers were in all attendance to the fabulous show. The winner of the evening was awarded a trip to New York Fashion Week as well as a complete runway production showcasing their full line at Swim Week 2015 in Miami.
