Key Biscayne, FL – June 27, 2014 – Straying away from a typical art gallery presentation, Pork Belly Times opted for a more unique way to showcase the diversity of Miami’s burgeoning art scene. The online publication kicked Friday night into full gear by hosting a VIP opening reception for Art With a View. This inaugural art exhibition was held at the stunning waterfront home at 750 South Mashta Drive, a property developed by Olive Developments listed with Maureen Jauregui and Emma Jauregui of Fortune International Realty Key Biscayne. The soiree signified the new concept of pairing extravagant real estate with art by highlighting a vibrant mix of established veteran and up-and-coming artists in the Miami scene.

Upon arrival, guests were welcomed by Frank Hyder’s incredible LED illuminated pieces and once they made their way inside, were treated to a fantastic gallery curated by Pork Belly Times. Attendees mixed and mingling over delicious cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and even a variety of mini bacon cupcakes as they toured the property, admiring the works of various featured Miami artists along with select works from Calman Shemi and Clifford Land, curated from a private collection. Artists Randy Burman, Frank Hyder, Charles Anthony Leano, Paul Morris, Steven D Morse, Bianca Pratorius, and David Zalben were all on hand for the opening reception to chat with attendees. As an added bonus to the showing, a portion of the art sale proceeds will benefit the Key Biscayne Community Foundation.

The exhibition will be open every Saturday and Sunday from 2-6pm until August 24th. Viewings are also available by appointment.
