Miami Beach, FL – April 25-27, 2014 – Can you believe that this month is almost over? Where has the time gone? Thinking about how you plan to enjoy the last weekend of the month? Well, we’ve got plenty of activities lined up for you to fill your weekend with. Dance the night away to the sounds of Flux Pavilion at Mansion. If that doesn’t fancy you then get in touch with your creative side and head out to Wynwood Life Festival. Get funky at Bardot with James Murphy or indulge in your charitable side by heading out to Locust Projects’ Annual Spring Fling Fundraiser. There’s a little bit of everything going on and we can’t wait for you to check some of them out, or even all if your truly down for the get down!
Wynwood Life
Looking for something different to do this weekend that doesn’t involve simply checking out a different club or paying tons of money? Come out to the streets of Wynwood and watch it come alive for the inaugural Wynwood Life Festival, where locals will fill the streets, perusing art, crafts, jewelry and over 100 vendors all the while being entertained by live art, music and noshing from dozens of local restaurants in the area. The aim of the festival is to give local artists an ample venue to showcase to the creative people of Miami. The festival will be going on from April 25th to the 27th so don’t miss the opportunity to do something out of the box.
James Murphy at Bardot
Former LCD Soundsystem frontman, DFA Records founder, entrepreneur, and basically an all around dope human, James Murphy, will be gracing the city of Miami once again this Saturday night. He’ll be returning to Bardot to spin some wax and rock our worlds with his groovy sounds. Anyone who is remotely familiar with Murphy’s musical brilliance will understand that such a performance is not to be missed. Saturday night, Bardot Miami, be there or be square.

Flux Pavilion at Mansion
It wouldn’t be a weekend in Miami without a killer DJ playing at one of the towns hottest nightclubs. Flux Pavilion, known for his insane beat drops and low-frequency booms will be taking over Mansion Nightclub this Friday night. Come out and hear those heart racing beats that you let loose and get rowdy. Really though, it’s going to be insane and the tickets are selling out so we suggest if your ready to dance your face off you buy them before their gone!

Locust Projects’ Annual Spring Fling Fundraiser
Calling all art buffs, cool kids, foodies, and socialites! The Holy Trinity of food, art, and drink will come together at the Locust Projects’ annual Spring Fling as they celebrate more than 15 years of providing support to local, national, and international contemporary visual artists. Embracing cutting-edge exhibitions and innovative installations, Locust Projects gives artists “the freedom to experiment with new ideas and methods without the limitations of conventional exhibition spaces.” Aside from a killer silent art auction and foodie delights, there will be a silent luxury auction that includes a Neiman Marcus shopping spree and handbags by Tod’s and Ralph Lauren. This is definitely one event you want to have marked on your calendar. Come put the “fun” in “fundraiser” this Saturday starting at 7 pm at the 1111 Lincoln Rd. parking garage (seventh floor, Miami Beach).
