Miami Beach, FL – April 26, 2014 – 90º heat didn’t stop the dog lovers of Miami from enjoying the 1st Annual Bark Brunch at The Standard, Miami on Saturday afternoon. The brunch benefited Animal Welfare Society of South Florida, the only non-profit, veterinary hospital in Miami. Raffles + contests were enjoyed by guests including Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine Levine, former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ” cast member Dana Wilkey, songwriter Rudy Perez, WPLG Local 10’s Jacey Birch and Trent Aric along with other charity enthusiasts. The Garner Foundation was also honored for their generous support with an award presented to Gerald W. Moore and James Moore. The sizzling brunch raised thousands which will directly benefit South Florida pets.
