Bal Harbour, FL – February 5, 2014 – Miami wine lovers found the perfect way to wind down on Wednesday evening as the newly opened Lalique Bal Harbour boutique hosted an exclusive wine tasting with internationally acclaimed wine critic, James Suckling. Suckling can also be credited for creating the highly successful Lalique ‘100 Points’ stemware and barware collection. VIP guests spent the night tasting rare wines from the prestigious 100 points Italian winery Bruno Giacosa including the phenomenal Barolo Le Roche del Falletto 2007, rated 100 points by James Suckling. Tasting cards were distributed as guests drank from the Lalique ‘100 Points’ Universal tasting glass and enjoyed delicious prosciutto bruschetta, beef carpaccio crostini and burrata tarts prepared especially for the occasion by The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort. Lalique’s President & CEO, Maz Zouhairi and James Suckling welcomed guests including Ocean Drive’s Cortland Lantaff and Jared Shapiro. On display at the crystal jewel-box boutique were all five pillars of the Lalique lifestyle brand including interior design, crystal objets d’art, jewelry, fragrance and art.
