Miami Beach, FL – February 20, 2014 – For one special day and night, Seaspice transported Miamians to the epicenter of ambient music and pan-Asian gastronomy for an extraordinary first ever U.S. Buddha-Bar pop-up experience on Thursday at Miami’s most unique waterfront restaurant. Seaspice served a prix-fixe Buddha-Bar menu made up of top selling items pulled from the brand’s 15 global locations. The collaborative pop-up is the brainchild of Stephane Dupoux, Buddha Bar worldwide designer and Seaspice concept creator/co-owner. Pairing the menu created by the Buddha-Bar’s executive chef Eric Rousselieres, who oversaw the kitchen during the pop up, was a small selection of signature sushi rolls fashioned by Seaspice’s very own Executive Chef Alfredo Alvarez. Famous for his mix of world music, soul and electronic, DJ Ravin brought an international touch to the venue with ethnic vibes from the worldly acclaimed Buddha-Bar music concept. The Paris-based sensation, also the man behind many of the popular Buddha-Bar albums, created a special playlist for the event’s invitees to download. Notable guests included: Debi Mazar, Chef Gabriele Corcos, Celebrity Chefs Lorena Garcia and Art Smith, Belkys Nerey, Marysol Patton, Alexia Echevarria, Tarja Visan, Franck Fortet, David Bhujun – aka DJ Ravin, Arantxa Sánchez Vicario, Marcos Machado, Franck Dubarry, Louis-Fabrice Latour and Benny Shabta.
