Miami Beach, FL – February 22, 2014 – It was a night of celebrating 1 Hotel & Homes, the highly anticipated new brand from Barry Sternlicht, Chairman of Starwood Capital Group and the creative force behind the W, as it debuted its sales center and model residences on Saturday evening with a VIP tasting from Chef Tom Colicchio. Sternlicht is combining his vast hotel experience and talents with LeFrak’s real estate development expertise to bring Miami an extraordinary residential experience. Taking place during the South Beach Food & Wine Festival, this event was the first sensory experience of Chef Colicchio’s currently unnamed farm-to-table restaurant.  Slated to open at the oceanfront property later this year, the restaurant will mark the five-time James Beard Award winning chef’s first venture in South Florida. Guests were able to enjoy some bubbly and munch on delicious hors d’oeuvres as they mingled throughout the sales center.
