A Great Big World

Miami Beach, FL – January 24, 2014 – On the heels of releasing their newest album, “Is There Anybody Out There?,” A Great Big World christened the recently completed 12,000 square-foot state of the art BleauLive stage at Fontainebleau Miami Beach on Friday night. Ian Axel and Chad Vaccarino along with their band performed their iTunes number one song “Say Something” as well as newly released songs “Shorty Don’t Wait,” “This Is The New Year,” and “Rockstar” in front of more than 300 fans singing along. Known for their positive, piano-driven pop songs and heartwarming lyrics, A Great Big World originally used support from fans to craft a six-song EP funded entirely on Kickstarter, which led them to sign with Black Magnetic/Epic Records and undoubtedly was the driving force to their incredible success today.

The band’s South Florida fans who did not want to miss out on the highly anticipated night enjoyed a delicious prix-fixe dinner at one of Fontainebleau’s signature restaurants, including Scarpetta, Gotham Steak or Hakkasan, prior to the show.
