You were recently in Africa. What were you doing there?

Yes, I was there briefly in Mozambique for a concert.

What brings you to Miami?

I will be at the TigerDirect flagship store on Saturday, November 16th to sign autographs, as well as showcase SMS Audio products. It is just another way for me to share my passion for music with everyone.

How did you get involved with headphones?

When I was out in Africa I witnessed the devastation and desperation of people who don’t know when they will have their next meal. I grew up without money but I didn’t grow up hungry. The devastation changed me forever and it is my life goal to rid the world of hunger.

Where do you most like to hang when you are in Miami?

Miami has many great places. It is one of the best cities in the world. I wish I could stay for more than a day to hang in Miami.

What’s new with you music-wise?

I’m working a lot on the music front. You should be hearing something new from me soon this coming year.

Will you be working with Eminem on his new project?

Eminem is a great artist and I like working with him and other great artists, which you will soon see.

Current thoughts on the music game. What are you listening to? Who has taken off that shocks you?

From the G-Unit family: Kidd Kidd and Precious Paris are young and hot right now.

Any more films up your sleeve?

Films are a passion of mine and always will be. Be on the lookout for the new Starz original series “Power,” executive produced by me, coming in 2014.

Finally, what is the greatest lesson you’ve learned throughout your life journey?

Be true to yourself. Give back. Surround yourself with good people.
