Save the date for Friday, September 27 at 10 p.m., when Afrobeta, the Cuban-American Electro Funk band with Miami roots, hits the stage at PAX. Expect to hear “That Thing” and “Nighttime” and dance your ass off. Named the Best Band in 2010 by the Miami New Times, you’ll want to put Do You Party? and Under the Streets on repeat to prep for the night.

One Night Stands at Locust Projects
Get your art on at One Night Stands at Locust Projects. This go-round, on Friday, September 27 from 7-10 p.m. it’s Let’s Sang Karaoke in Collaboration with Dylan Romer. Expect complimentary cocktails, artist-run karaoke (Will you be brave enough to belt out a tune?) and a one-night only projection installation by Dylan Romer.
Alesso at STORY
Swedish DJ, Alesso, hits the decks at STORY on Friday, September 27 at 11 p.m. for a dancing good time. Listen for “Years,” “City of Dreams” and “Clash” to blast through the speakers while you take it all in. You wouldn’t want to miss the kid who debuted at no. 70 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list, or the DJ MTV named the EDM artist to watch last year.
