We’re mid-May and things in Miami just keep us wanting more. From Friday evening through Sunday afternoon, we’ve got the top four things you need to add on your weekend calendar. There’s sure to be some surprises in store for Friday and Saturday nights, as well as some things you know you can count on- like a cheap craft brew or a great summer BBQ. It’s the last weekend before Memorial Day weekend, and there’s no shortage of things to do. Friday and Saturday, Wood Tavern is partaking in American Craft Brew Week and has some great beer specials. If you really want to throw a wild card into the mix, Steve Aoki is at LIV tonight, and there’s never any telling just what will happen. Saturday brings the grand opening of a new Microsoft store, which means a free Gym Class Heroes and Lupe Fiasco show for us. You can’t beat a free show. Sunday you can wind it all down with a delicious BBQ and some rosé at Villa Azur. The weekend is nearly here, Miami. Join us!

Wood Tavern for American Craft Brew Week

Start off the weekend with a good ol’ fashioned happy hour at Wynwood’s indoor/outdoor bar, Wood Tavern. And in honor of American Craft Brew Week, they’ve got some great specials going on. On Friday, get a $20 bucket of any four canned beers, along with $5 Blue Point Draft all week long.

Last time Steve Aoki came to town was just a two short months ago for WMC and Ultra. And this Friday he’s back for more. It’s all going down at LIV, where the possibilities of the night are endless. Last time at STORY, Michael Phelps showed up, Aoki crowd surfed on a raft, and threw a cake at the crowd. Gym Class Heroes at the Fillmore

You won’t find this show on the Fillmore‘s regularly scheduled program because it’s a special one. This Saturday night, Gym Class Heroes and Lupe Fiasco are performing for FREE as a part of the new Microsoft Store’s opening celebrations. The store’s grand opening Saturday in Dadeland will have a chance for you to meet the musicians and get your ticket for the night time show on South Beach.
