Lucky for you, it’s Friday and we’ve got your line-up of what to do right here with our brand spankin’ new weekend guide. On every Friday, World Red Eye will be bringing you a specially selected list of the hottest things going on for the weekend. James Franco at the Gusman Center

If you’re like most of the population, you’re probably a fan of James Franco. Miamians will get to see him Saturday night at the gorgeous, historic Gusman Center for the Performing Arts as part of the Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. He’ll be accepting the MGLFF Ally Award sponsored by HBO Latin America just before the Out in the Dark screening.

A perfect daytime weekend activity is going to watch a match at the annual La Martina Miami Beach Polo World Cup presented by Grey Goose, where the best men’s and women’s polo players from around the world come to play. Alice in Wynwoodland Bike Ride

Everyone’s favorite whimsical story of “Alice in Wonderland” is taking a Miami turn down the Wynwood neighborhood on Saturday night for Alice in Wynwoodland. Grab your bikes and best Wonderland costumes and join the huge meet-up at 6pm for a ride through Wynwood. There will be performing actors, prizes for best costume, and more at the ending location. Follow down the rabbit hole if you dare.
