Carolina Herrera Fall 2013 Collection

Bal Harbour, FL – April 13, 2013 – It was a fashion-filled Saturday night at Bal Harbour Shops as prominent fashion designer Carolina Herrera landed in Miami to unveil her Fall 2013 Collection with Town & Country magazine. The Venezuelan-American designer, who has dressed everyone from style icon Jackie Onassis to current First Lady Michelle Obama, held the cocktail reception at her Carolina Herrera New York boutique in Bal Harbour. Models showed off some of the best pieces in the collection while Miami Art Museum supporters from the Benefactor Circle joined Carolina Herrera brand representatives Alexandra Kotur and Herrera’s daughter Patricia Lansing Herrera. The Fall 2013 Collection features what Herrera does best- elegant gowns- in rich gem tones like sapphire, ruby, and emerald with some sparkles and shine thrown in. There’s full-length formal dresses and mid-length cocktail dresses, both woven seamlessly into the classic yet contemporary collection. She’s thrown in a few prints, mostly florals but a couple wild cards too, and of course some classic black and white designs.

MAM Spring Benefactor Circle Dinner at Makoto

Bal Harbour, FL – April 13, 2013 – After mixing and mingling with Carolina Herrera and her latest designs, Miami Art Museum supporters from the Benefactor Circle joined Herrera and her other brand representatives for dinner at Bal Harbour Shops‘ premier Japanese restaurant, Makoto. The party was seated to enjoy a specially-designed menu for the night and carry on with the conversations and fashion fun from the boutique without having to go more than a few steps away.
