After being featured in publications such as Architectural Digest, Vogue, and Harper’s Bazaar, renowned interior designer and billionaire philanthropist Ann Getty just released her book: “Ann Getty Interior Style.” One of the most famous families, the Getty’s have been respected for years. In addition to their mark in the oil industry, they started the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles. Ann Getty and her husband Gordon are known for their contributions the world over in philanthropy and the arts.

Hollywood, FL – February 20, 2013 – Ann Getty celebrated her book launch with John Hall Nelson, who also celebrated J Nelson’s 12th Anniversary at his namesake design showroom in Hollywood, Florida. The white glove affair hosted 250 guests from as far as Paris, London, Berlin, Cairo, New York and San Francisco.  New York fashion designer Timo Weiland was flown in to DJ for the evening – even the breads were from Balthazar Bakery to pair with cheeses from all over the world. Artwork from Iran Issa-Khan, Fernando Baliño and Santiago Rubino hung throughout the showroom as everyone enjoyed the free-flowing Dom Pérignon Rose prior to a dinner fit for royalty. It was clearly a big celebration of the highest degree. Guests departed with beautiful Swarovski Crystal necklaces compliments of Swarovski Elements.

John Hall Nelson’s ‘People, Personas, Artists & Philanthropists Dinner’ included 24 guests for an evening of Turkish and Greek fair with great company and conversation under a Miami star-filled sky.
