Miami Beach, FL – January 8, 2013 – Casamigos Tequila founders George Clooney and Rande Gerber and partner Mike Meldman hit Miami last night to celebrate the launch of Casamigos Tequila at Hakkasan at Fontainebleau. Clooney, Gerber and Meldman are in the middle of a national sales road trip to promote the brand. Seven years ago when Gerber and Clooney decided to build adjacent homes in Mexico they developed the house tequila, with their Master Distiller in the Jalisco region of Mexico, the tequila was always intended for personal use and to be shared with their friends and their family.

Casamigos will launch in 33 states later this month with a Reposado and a Blanco tequila. Casamigos Reposado is smooth and clean with hints of caramel, perfect served neat or on the rocks and mixes well with everything. Casamigos Blanco is crisp and clear with subtle hints of vanilla and a smooth finish. Perfect neat, on the rocks or the base for premium cocktails.
