Miami Beach, FL – December 1, 2012 – The new Galbut Family The Miami Beach JCC on the Simkins Family Campus hosted its Grand Celebration at Jungle Island on December 1 at 7:00pm, honoring Allison and Jerry Sokol with Special Recognition to JCC major donors Russell & Ronalee Galbut and Nikki and Michael Simkins.  Miami historian Seth Bramson, Moj Danial, and the Gibb Family came out to present the honorees.  With over 650 guests attending, it was one of the major fundraising events in Miami Beach this season.  The silent auction brought in dollars with a high-tech twist, bidding via Smartphones through technology partner BidPal.  A special performance by world-renowned artist Matisyahu was the highlight of the night, followed by DJ Tony G.
