Village of Merrick Park Tree Lighting Ceremony

Coral Gables, FL – November 15, 2012 – The Village of Merrick Park kicked off the holiday season with its annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony. The evening’s festivities included in-store events and promotions and live entertainment, culminating with the lighting of the 50-foot tree by the evening’s Master of Ceremonies, Head News Anchor at Fox WSVN Channel 7, Belkys Nerey and a visit from Santa Claus. Attendees were encouraged to bring unwrapped toys to donate to the Toys for Tots Toy Drive. For the fourth time, Village of Merrick Park is environmentally friendly by lighting its 50-foot tree with 55,000 LED light bulbs.
