Miami, FL – September 20, 2012 – The Wolfsonian Visionaries kicked off their third annual fundraising event to benefit The Wolfsonian–Florida International University with a party at NIBA Home. The Art of Illumination is the theme of this year’s fundraiser, to be held on November 10, 2012 at the historic Moore Building in the heart of Miami’s famed design district. The event’s focus will be around the power and beauty of light, with installations from the Visionaries’ The Art of Illumination 2012 Challenge to be featured throughout the venue. To kick-off the event, the Visionaries hosted an opening event Thursday featuring local artists involved in the challenge as well as participating sponsors of The Art of Illumination: Le Basque, Bacardi, Société Perrier, Lemon Yellow, We Made This Macarons, NIBA Home, Panache, and Social Miami.
