To Live & Dine in Miami

Miami, FL – July 25, 2012 – Wednesday night marked the celebration of the city’s most recognized restaurants and chefs at the 4th Annual To Live & Dine in Miami culinary experience at the Miami Design District’s Moore Building, with MIAMI magazine, co-hosted by world-renowned Chef Daniel Boulud and benefiting Chapman Partnership. To Live & Dine in Miami was presented by Mercedes-Benz of Coral Gables and Mercedes-Benz of Cutler Bay with generous support provided by Eggwhites Special Event Catering. This yearly celebration honors the July/August Restaurant Issue of MIAMI magazine. Attendees enjoyed creative bites and pairings from over 19 of Miami’s favorite culinary hotspots spread across two floors of the historic Moore Building.

The event was a culinary melting pot of over 400 food enthusiasts, honored chefs, media and restaurateurs. Attendees were the first to get a taste of Miami’s soon-to-open establishments including Florida Cookery and Swine Southern Table & Bar. Performers from The Donkey Show at The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County surprised guests with a disco flash mob while DJ Mad Linx provided the sounds for the rest of the evening. Proceeds from the event benefited Chapman Partnership, a comprehensive support program including two Homeless Assistance Centers with emergency shelter, meals, health care, day care, job training/placement, and securing stable housing.
