Girlfriends Getaway Weekend – Day 1

Miami Beach, FL – April 21, 2012 – Loews Miami Beach Hotel’s Third Girlfriends Getaway kicked off Friday, April 20. The hotel partnered with Ocean Drive Magazine to create a weekend of sipping, shopping, spa-ing and indulging. Ladies checked in and received an amazing swag bag with some of the latest and greatest products recommended by Ocean Drive. The two night/three day event kicked off with a Voli Light happy hour and delicious bites from Executive Chef Frederic Delaire. Saturday morning began with a traditional yoga class by lululemon athletica followed by Tracie Wright Vlaun’s Aeroga, which is a combination of yoga, pilates and core excercies.

Loews Miami Beach transformed spaces into retail and beauty pop up venues where ladies shopped SEE eyewear, Trina Turk, Citrine by the Stones, Zeki Swim, Sebastien James, C&C California and lululemon athletica/Green Monkey yoga. Complimentary beauty services were given by Elemis Spa, MAC Cosmetics, Keratin Complex and Essie/GBS. Evian kept everyone hydrated and Bacardi provided yummy cocktails from their classic cocktail collection. Ocean Drive Magazine Editor-in-Chief Suzy Buckley dished fashion trends with celebrity stylist and Bravo TV star, Brad Goreski.
