Miami Beach, FL – February 25, 2012 – South Beach Wine and Food Festival weekend is a time to celebrate the trends of today, but for our annual Tribute Dinner at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel we honor the pioneers who left an indelible mark on the culinary and wine worlds. This evening’s soiree celebrated chef Charlie Trotter and winemaker Piero Antinori. Anthony Bourdain served as the evenings master of ceremonies.

A “who’s who” of chefs payed tribute to Trotter and Antinori with symbiotic dishes that showed the relationship between exquisite wine and unforgettable cuisine. Chefs who cooked in the Loews kitchen included: Loews’ own Frederic Delaire, Wylie Dufresne, Michelle Gayer, Emeril Lagasse, Patrick O’Connell and Norman Van Aken. All courses were paired with a wine from the Antinori collection. A live auction rounded out this exquisite event.
