House Tonic
Miami Beach, FL – September 18 – 19, 2011 – On Sunday, September 18, and Monday, September 19, as part of the official relaunch of the historic citrus liqueur Mandarine Napoléon, locals were invited to engage in an interactive mixology session and training seminar lead by Master Distiller Matthis Jenson. The brand’s owner Marc de Kuyper welcomed everyone to the event while Soho House bartender Armani instructed guests on how to create the Soho House’s signature Mandarine Napoléon cocktails created by all star bar tender Chris Hudnall (including the Coco Napoléon, and Les Invalides). Attendees were then asked to step behind the bar and create their own cocktails featuring Mandarine Napoléon. The drink originally created for Emperor Napoleon is a well balanced blend of 10 year old cognac and mandarins, and can be found at many of the premium bars and hotels in Miami.
