North Miami Beach, FL – August 9, 2011 – On Tuesday night fashion journalist and style guru, Kate Betts celebrated her first book, “Everyday Icon, Michelle Obama and the Power of Style” with an elite crowd at Mister Collins in ONE Bal Harbour Resort & Spa. At an exclusive fete hosted by Lara Shriftman, Iran Issa-Khan, Sarah Harrelson and Criselda Breene, Betts mingled with Miami’s most fashionable and chatted about the book’s behind-the-scenes account of the First Lady’s fashion statements. Party-goers sipped on cocktails courtesy of Grey Goose Vodka paired with a savory summer menu from the hotel’s on-site restaurant, Mister Collins, which included pretzel bites, mushroom burgers, tuna tartare and shrimp cocktail.
