Miami, FL – June 12, 2011 – Movie star, Vivica A. Fox and E! News Giuliana Rancic hosted Catwalk for Charity, a fashion show fundraiser produced by Breakfast with Santa, on Sunday at the world class JW Marriot Hotel, Brickell. Breakfast with Santa of Florida, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness, funds and improving the lives of underprivileged children in Little Haiti and in Haiti. Over 350 movers, shakers and tastemakers were in attendance, including the First Lady of Haiti, Mrs. Sophia Martelly and our very own children’s advocate and philanthropist, Lea Black. The stars and supporters viewed summer collections of couture gowns from Gabriella Arango and luxury handbags from Francoise Elizee, slipped champagne and savored pecan crusted chicken risotto. With prestigious sponsors such as Evite, American Airlines, Tropix/NBC and Dr. and Mrs. Rudy Moise, Catwalk for Charity expects to raise funds exceeding $50,000. These donations are vital in continuing BWS’s mission of bringing Joy, Hope and the Spirit of Christmas to disadvantaged Haitian children in December with the ultimate goal of constructing “Santa’s Village,” within Haiti.
