Chinese New Year at Fontainebleau

Miami Beach, FL – February 5, 2011 – The Year of The Rabbit! is being celebrated at Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s Hakkasan restaurant from February 3 – 9, 2011. The culmination of the event was this past Saturday with entertainment to help ward off evil spirits and bring happiness, wealth and longevity in the New Year. The colorful, thrilling lion dance, performed by local Kung Fu experts, in the traditional style with jumps and quick, acrobatic maneuvered accompanied by drum, gong and cymbal players made their way from the resort lobby to the epicenter of it all at, Hakkasan. In homage to Chinese tradition, guests received red envelopes at the end of the night for a bit of added luck and filled with enticing offers to return. Hakkasan is open for dinner daily  and offers traditional Dim Sum on the weekends.  Happy New Year you crazy Wabbit!
