Trump, CEO of the Trump Organization, re-enacted his world-famous 1986 mortgage burning by striking a match to ceremoniously burn the paid-off $210 million construction loan of Dezer Properties’ luxurious Sunny Isles Beach oceanfront condominium – The Trump Royale. Trump Royale residents and Sunny Isles’ civic leaders attended the invitation-only event which took place on Friday, January 7. An evening focused on the intrigue of fire, the event featured captivating performances by fire dancers, fiery tasting stations of spicy delicacies and mini hot stone spa treatments, all culminating with Mr. Trump setting the mortgage ablaze.
