Park City, UT – January 23, 2011 -Last Night the premiere after-party for the Homework was held at the Flying Sumo restaurant. The film, written and directed by Gavin Wiesen, focuses on George (Freddie Highmore), a smart teenage loner, who has made it to his senior year despite the fact that he has never compelted an assignment. Enter Sally (Emma Roberts), the school beauty, who hides her melancholy behind the protective mask of popularity. An unlikely connected blooms as these kindred spirits bond over their troubled relationships. The films two protagonists, Freddie Highmore and Emma Roberts were at the after-party, along with Michael Angarano, Blair Underwood, Elizabeth Reaser, Sam Robards and Rita Wilson.
