Dumpster Art

LiHa, FL – December 17,2010 – Created by Miami Beach locals, Ben and Zack Bush, DUMPSTER ART, was a project where local waste and recycling company General Hauling Service partnered with local artists to transform ordinarily mundane items, trash dumpsters, into works of art. The dumpsters as well as Susie Bush Photography’s documentation of the artistic process, were on display last Friday in LiHa (Little Havana) at Zona Verde.  The Dumpster Art project, which was well received by locals and Art Basel visitors, will be back next year. General Hauling Service announced the winning artists and awarded cash prizes at the event.
