Miami, FL – June 18, 2010 – I’m THRILLED to be back this year producing the 6th installment of Irie Weekend! It can’t officially be summer without IRIE WEEKEND! Miami’s favorite summer time gathering will take place on Miami Beach, Fl June 25^th – 26^th. It has been such a blast and amazing ride producing this event year after year. Special thanks to my partners at MMG! I couldn’t do this without you all. This year we’re excited to welcome our guests to the Crown Royal Black Lounge. This is our new welcome reception for our guests to meet, greet and sip Crown Royal Black cocktails while listening to the sounds of DJ Sky Nellor and hosted be the beautiful Selita Ebanks. Another new move we announced is LIV nightclub being the new home of our Friday night Kick-Off party. LIV is unquestionably one of the hottest nightclubs in the country and we will have a DJ performance by the talented Jessica Who? and yours truly, not to mention some surprise celebrity guests with us the night of the 25th. Of course as always our Celebrity Golf Tournament will be back at the Miami Beach Golf course with all the usual fun participants and some 1^st timers guaranteeing a day of fun & amazing fund raising.

We have enjoyed great success over the years raising funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami and this year we are on track to continue that success. With the help of our partners, celebrity guests & participants we will once again contribute to bettering the lives of our youth all over South Florida. I’m especially sympathetic to Big Brothers Big Sisters organization because they are changing and shaping lives. The work they do with their “Littles” in the program is hands on and on-going.. I attribute being the person I am today to the mentorship that I enjoyed as a child so I know 1st hand of the impact a Big Brother or Sister can have on child’s life.
