Miami, FL – November 9, 2016 – MIAMI Magazine hosted it’s first ever Dynamic Women event at the beautiful Turnberry Isle Resort, celebrating women entrepreneurs who are leaders in their industries while making making a positive impact in our community. The event unveiled a special advertorial section in the current issue of MIAMI Magazine featuring interviews and stunning photographs of the women and their event celebrity host and guest speaker, India Hicks. A former model for the likes of Ralph Lauren and J. Crew, Hicks has been a royal commentator on various TV programs, a New York Times best-selling author and a top-notch interior designer and former host of Bravo’s Top Design. She now runs a lifestyle line of beauty products, accessories and jewelry which is sold through entrepreneurial women at home, online and one-to-one. With a philanthropic slant, ambassadors who sell her products are encouraged to share a percentage of proceeds to a charity of their choice. Her speech was a heartfelt and authentic acknowledgement of how challenging is it to be a woman entrepreneur and she celebrated the courage, determination and talent of the Dynamic Women. After her speech, MIAMI Magazine surprised their honorees with a video that was shot behind the scenes of their photo shoot. The video featured the stunning Dynamic Women and quotes from famous leading ladies like Michelle Obama and Maya Angelou with the musical backdrop of Alicia Keys song, Superwoman. Publisher, Diana Riser, announced that this first Dynamic Women program is the start of a new networking group who will continue to collaborate and partner for future projects and endeavors. “This is just the beginning, and as MIAMI Magazine enters it’s 10th year in 2017, we will have a lot to work on together and celebrate together.” India’s dear friend, Michele King Soffer, accompanied by husband, Don Soffer and a group of her inspirational philanthropist friends, as well as the friends, colleagues and family of the Dynamic Women attended the event. Guests enjoyed light bites and libations while being entertained by Zanadu’s Face 2 Face band who got everyone dancing until late into the night.
