Chairman of the Board George Lindemann shared plans for the expansion which will increase public areas by almost 50%, and Executive Director Silvia Karman Cubiñá reminded the group of The Bass Ball on February 20. Guests enjoyed a savory meal that was prepared by Antonio Mellino, two Michelin-starred chef of the forthcoming restaurant Forte dei Marmi which will open in Fall 2016, and the elegant table decor was created by Le Basque. The evening also featured a special musical performance by Elizavetta.

Miami, FL – December 1, 2015 – The Bass Museum of Art honored internationally acclaimed artist Sylvie Fleury at a formal dinner held The Miami Beach EDITION Hotel. Fleury’s newest neon sculpture Eternity Now, opened for public viewing earlier in the evening. The 33 foot-long site-specific piece is part of bassX, a series of artist projects presented by the Bass Museum during its year-long renovation. Fleury also designed an 800-foot banner for the construction fence that encloses the museum’s construction site. George Lindemann, President of the Museum Board and Museum Executive Director Silvia Karman Cubiñá, were hosts of the dinner prepared by chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Upon arrival, guests were greeted with Chateau D’Esclans’ rosé wine ‘Whispering Angel’ and their newest wine ‘Rock Angel.’

To kick off our 5-year anniversary weekend festivities, we brought together an exclusive crowd for an invite-only dinner celebration at Quality Meats. The dinner was a part of the Absolut Elyx’s Raw Integrity influencer series which highlights brand pillars in the art and entertainment industry. The evening also celebrated the digital release of SNAP, a short film directed by Jessica Dornbusch and produced by Seth Browarnik. We would like to say thank you to our loyal clients and friends who have let us capture all of the memorable nights in Miami as well as enabled us to grow and become what World Red Eye is today.
