Miami, FL – June 18, 2015 – Pérez Art Museum Miami continued its ongoing partnership with Poplife, the masterminds behind Miami’s most sought-after and sold-out independent acts, to host PAMM Third Thursdays: Poplife Social, held every third Thursday of the month through September. This month, John Hancock III turned up the heat with his tropical pop music. Best known as the lead singer of Miami bedroom pop pioneers ANR (Awesome New Republic), Hancock, or ‘MJ’ as he’s called by most, has produced music with multi-media artist Jillian Mayer, as well as scoring many wild works of the Borscht Film Festival. As the sun set on the bay front museum, guests enjoyed special treats including happy hour drink specials, light bites by Stephen Starr, adult art-making activities and a gallery scavenger hunt. The PAMM Contemporaries enjoyed complimentary cocktails mixed by William Wolf Fine Bourbons and Peroni beer at their own private lounge. Be sure to check the Pérez Art Museum Miami website to pre-purchase tickets for next month’s PAMM Third Thursdays: Poplife Social on July 16.
