Miami, FL – February 25, 2025 – The Education Fund marked its 40th anniversary with the 2025 Taste of Education at the iconic Hialeah Park, bringing together over 30 Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ culinary programs for a high-stakes competition. Student chefs showcased their skills, vying for $20,000 in prizes as attendees enjoyed gourmet bites and networked with top culinary, business, and community leaders.

Renowned chefs, restaurateurs, and hospitality professionals, including Allen Susser, Letty Alvarez, Adina Brunetti, Matt Kuscher, and Danny Serfer, judged the competition, while guests cast their votes for the coveted People’s Choice Award. The evening’s menu featured standout dishes like Birria Tacos with house-made tortillas, Jamaican Jerk Chicken, and Mango Cardamom Mousse, highlighting the talent of Miami’s future culinary stars. Chef Allen Susser praised The Education Fund’s commitment to nurturing young talent, celebrating the event as a platform for the next generation to shine.
